I really loved what you said about Palpatine being the only space where Anakin’s emotions are actually heard. That gives him this quiet psychological hold that makes the whole turn feel inevitable. I also thought you handled the Jedi really well too, by holding them accountable without making it one-sided or simplistic. That balance was one of the strongest parts of the piece. Also, thank you for the shout-out and the kind words, you didn’t have to, and it honestly meant a lot
I don't support Stephen Miller, but I do support STEVE Miller the musician, whom I initially got confused with the former guy. And it didn't add up because Steve Miller (in "Fly Like An Eagle") was singing about anti-MAGA stuff like giving children shoes and people housing.
I just realized that, if Luke had known anything about the Jedi when he first talked to Obi-Wan about them, the realization that his own father was a Jedi would have set off immediate warning bells. Wait, he was a Jedi and he had children? How could that have possibly happened? There’s something fishy about the story that he’s not telling me!
Apparently, Tom Stoppard consulted on the script. My pet theory is he wrote the Darth Plagueis stuff. It’s way too juicy to be Lucas.

Thank you, Natalia! And twas my pleasure; you're a boon to the craft of film criticism!
